Food Technology (8-9) / Health (10-12)
Students participate in Food Technology in years 8-9 where they focus on Australian Guide to Healthy Eating to produce healthy food choices. They also develop basic skills in food production.
In years 10-12 students’ focus on healthy lifestyles, relationships and leisure to develop an understanding that personal actions and decisions affect Health, fitness and well-being. Throughout the lessons students are provided opportunities to develop skills for independent living.
