Science

Salisbury High School’s Special Education Science curriculum is designed to provide students with a hands-on, interactive, and collaborative learning experience. Our program blends specialised instruction with the exploration of scientific concepts aligned with the Australian Curriculum, covering a broad range of topics, including earth and space science, biological science, physical science, and chemical science. We ensure that students receive a well-rounded and comprehensive educational experience.

What sets our program apart is our focus on collaboration, hands-on learning, and interactivity. Teachers offer students opportunities to explore, question, experiment, and discover science, while also fostering the development of essential life and post-school skills.

Through a mix of interactive activities, collaborative experiments, and multimedia resources, our science program caters to diverse learning styles and abilities. It creates an inclusive classroom environment with the goal of empowering each student to enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific knowledge foundation.
