Through Food Technology students progressively develop knowledge and understanding about the nature of food and food safety, and how to make informed and appropriate food preparation choices when experimenting with and preparing food in a sustainable manner.
In Food and Hospitality, students focus on the dynamic nature of the food and hospitality industry and develop an understanding of contemporary approaches and issues related to food and hospitality. Students develop skills in using technology and safe work practices in the preparation, storage, and handling of food.
Child Studies focuses on children and their development from conception to 8 years. Students have the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of young children through individual, collaborative, and practical learning. They explore concepts such as the development, needs, and rights of children, the value of play, concepts of childhood and families, and the roles of parents and care-givers.

In the senior school, students are able to choose from a variety of courses which are designed to cater for individual interests and career aspirations. A high level of interest is shown by senior students in subjects which include:
