School Uniform

Wearing of the school uniform reinforces school pride, respect and positive relationships. Students of Salisbury High School are required to wear our school uniform when attending school and undertaking school activities. The Uniform Policy is endorsed by the Governing Council and is formulated to comply with the regulations and guidelines set out by the Department for Education. The school believes that this is also the most effective way of deterring intruders and thus providing an additional standard of safety to students in the school yard.

Care teachers will follow up students who are inappropriately dressed in the first instance. We ask that parents support the school by ensuring that their students are wearing complying uniform.

Uniform choices

  • Unisex striped Polo Shirt with school logo.
  • School navy rugby top.
  • Dark blue or navy pants, shorts or skirts.
  • Blue check summer dress.
  • Salisbury High School windcheater or jacket.
  • Long sleeve white or navy top underneath.

What NOT to wear

  • No jeans or leggings may be worn.
  • Black, grey or coloured pants or jumpers.

 

Physical Education Uniform

Sky blue Sports Polo shirt with school logo. Navy blue shorts or navy blue tracksuit pants.

Footwear

Closed in school shoes or sneakers are the only acceptable footwear. Salisbury High School encourages students to wear black coloured footwear.
No open shoes, ugg boots, thongs or crocs may be worn.
